Purpose

• This module addresses the problem of customers abandoning checkout before paying for their listing. This is done by emailing them a specified amount of time after they abandon their listing. As with all AutomatedThinking modules, a full Admin page allows complete control of the module from within the 68Classifieds administration panel.

• Tailor the default email that is sent to users with incomplete listings - plain text or HTML formatting allowed, and the following variables will automatically be substituted in the outgoing email:
  • [SITEDOMAIN] [FIRSTNAME] [LASTNAME] [USERNAME] [EMAIL] [LISTINGTITLE] [SHORTDESC] [DESC] [DATEADDED]
• Configurable timers determine how long to wait after an incomplete listing is abandoned before sending the reminder email
• Blind copy option allows you to have copies of all outgoing reminder emails sent to you as well

How Does It Work?

• When a customer leaves your site after starting a listing they usually don't come back. This module quickly emails them a reminder containing a link back to your site to enable them to complete their listing later. We have used this module on our own sites with excellent results. You have full control over what email is sent to the user and when it is sent.
